IFPEN has just joined the Capenergies Competitiveness Cluster, a dynamic professional network of more than 500 members who collaborate to address the challenges of the energy transition and establish France’s position in the major energy sectors.
The cluster, created in 2005 and based in Aix en Provence, southern France, leads cooperation initiatives with innovation players (industry, companies, research organizations and higher education players) in order to encourage the setting-up of private and public-private collaborative research projects in the field of non-greenhouse-gas-generating energy.
It is active throughout the “low-carbon” energy mix, particularly: energy efficiency, network integration (energy and storage vectors, balancing, smart grids) and the production of different energy resources.
