IFPEN has just developed an algorithm allowing the SME Spade Pipelines to better characterize the signals of its pipeline damage detection system.
This work was carried out as part of a technological support partnership with the Ile-de-France SME specializing in this field. Spade Pipelines' technology uses signals from cathodic protection devices commonly installed by operators to prevent pipeline corrosion and enhance pipeline safety. Real-use tests will now be conducted with Spade Pipelines’ customers.
This partnership is part of IFPEN's support policy aimed at bolstering the competitiveness and innovative capacity of start-ups and innovative SMEs in the field of eco-industries.
