SAMOURAI
Simulation Analytics and Meta-model-based solutions for Optimization, Uncertainty and Reliability AnalysIs
Launched in March 2021 for a period of 4 years, the ANR SAMOURAI (Simulation Analytics and Meta-model-based solutions for Optimization, Uncertainty and Reliability AnalysIs) project brings together 7 academic and industrial partners:
- CentraleSupélec’s L2S laboratory,
- the CEA (DER),
- EDF R&D,
- Polytechnique Montréal’s GERAD (Research Group in Decisional Analysis) laboratory,
- IFPEN,
- the Ecole des Mines engineering school in Saint-Etienne,
- and Safran Tech.
The main objectives of the project are to jointly develop innovative simulation and optimization methods based on meta-models and guided by real applications, while pushing back existing performance and applicability limits.
Accordingly, the project partners will provide complex and critical applications, related to the design of complex systems and the evaluation of their associated risks, in the fields of renewable and low-carbon energies and low-CO2-emitting air transport in order to demonstrate the relevance and efficiency of the methodologies developed.
