Richard Tilagone has been appointed Director of the Powertrain and Vehicle Division
taking over from Stéphane Henriot who moves to the Transport Business Unit.
Richard Tilagone, 51, is a graduate of Insa Lyon (mechanical design engineering) and IFP School (powertrain engineering). He joined IFP Energies nouvelles’ Powertrain and Vehicle Division in 1993. Up until 2000, he was responsible for various projects in the fields of internal combustion engines for light vehicles and heavy trucks, and diesel and natural gas fuels. |
In 2007, he was appointed head of the Synthesis Engine Technologies Department at IFPEN-Lyon before moving to the Strategy Division in 2015 as special assistant responsible for examining the hydrogen market.
Since 2016, he has been managing the “Vehicle Hybridization and Electrification” and “Innovative Technologies for Transport” programs within the Transport Business Unit.
